I think I was around 4 or 5 years old in Pakistan, we used to have a very large ceiling that had a sun window thing on top in the middle that opens up to let air in. It’s like a giant sunroom and I really know know who designed it but I don’t hate them for it. My grandfather would take a rope, a really long rope and hang it from the ceiling all the way to the floor. Then, he would close the window to keep the rope from slipping.
I would take the rope and pretend I was Taarzan or Spiderman (depending on the day) and swing from table to table. It was like having a tire swing indoors without the tire.
Can’t really do this anymore without looking like a fool or bringing the roof down. I do miss those simpler times.
